With the covid around they are going to have to take the bubbles off anyway.hillbangin wrote:Those woods are always completely tracked out now. Nobody goes there anymore.....

Snowshed/Rams Head only ticket for beginners

limiting of sales may very well be industry standard by the time we're riding lifts again.hillbangin wrote:Limit sales on Saturday or do half price Sunday if you buy a Saturday ticket.
Saturdays were absolutely dangerous last year until the whole hill and the woods were open.

Part of what Perisher is doing in Australia right now early season. Not sure how this works though. If you have a pass, will you have to register far ahead to be able to go on certain days? What about people that register and don't show up that day? May cause others to not be able to go. Will they open up some slots for people to go by a certain time? Some people show up later in the day. Will there be a mandatory time window to get your pass and tickets scanned? What if they open slots and allow people in later in the morning and then someone who pre-registered shows up at noon? How would pre-purchased tickets work? (Like K tickets purchased in the next couple weeks). Should be very very interesting come November!!!!!buckethead wrote:^^ hey Mrs G!

Why? They are running the K1 this summer, not much difference between that and a bubble chair. You always have the option to leave the bubble open.daytripper wrote:With the covid around they are going to have to take the bubbles off anyway.hillbangin wrote:Those woods are always completely tracked out now. They aren't packing full gondolas right now, people are only riding up with people in their group, not strangers. This is not the case during ski season. Social distancing is tough with more than 1 person in a gondola. Even with the bubble open, it still reduces ventilation.machski wrote:Why? Not going to catch the Covid in the winter on a 10 minute ride up the gondi if everyone has their mouths covered.daytripper wrote:They aren't packing full gondolas right now, people are only riding up with people in their group, not strangers. I would have to disagree, people come in from the cold coughing, snot frozen that warms up and defrosts as they are coughing, it's a freaking petri dish. I already stay away from it at busy times and will continue too.

You can pick you friends, you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friends' nose is still a good rule.daytripper wrote:I would have to disagree, people come in from the cold coughing, snot frozen that warms up and defrosts as they are coughing, it's a freaking petri dish.
