There’s a window starting Monday the 30th lasting several days. I expect they’ll pull out all the stops, but whether it’s enough is anyone’s guess. By Thursday it’s back up into the mid 40’s.

continuous chatter in the background, the music and the action.. nicely done vid.

the listing of openings, october's didn't stick of course, was there for some. costs more to open these days and $ better spent on actual advertising or world cup.

As Rogman says, they are eyeing the 30th and the next several days. Not much to announce when it hasn't gotten remotely close to snowmaking temps.

Still below freezing at night beyond next Thursday. They'll go for it.

Right now I’m guessing Thursday, Nov 2nd, passholder open, Friday for the rest. The windows pretty small (36-48 hrs) so it might be a stretch to stay open, but I’m betting they last the weekend. I doubt we’ll see upper GN, unless they want to try the new guns.

I don't see them painting a ribbon. They want a base that will stick. Thursday at the earliest is my guess.

Agreed, they haven't opened on a ribbon in quite some time, they will have full coverage on rime and reason before they open.

What we need is a tropical storm comming up the coast running into some cold air and dropping 2+' of snow in early November. Can anyone say top to bottom?

Tammy? I saw a forecast that predicted that and LOL'd. Some of these armchair forecasters are delusional. Whatever, even a blind squirrel is right twice a day.

2005…if you were there for that opening and are (were?) a strong skier you likely still remember it.

Wilma did that in 2004 or 2005. Dropped 30” on top and 3” at Skye Ship. Mountain opened then closed several days later as everything melted away.
