If you go there midweek, you will miss out on meeting most of the characters that post here. BobR can tell you how nice and friendly we all are.

To be sure, Alpinezone has a few moderators who were extremely cool with me about the situation. BobR is one of them.

And then there are other mods who aren't so cool.

I was waiting to find out if Greg was going to be cool or uncool... That doesn't mean agree with DMC and I, but at least be cool about it.
Of course, he wasn't.. And that surprised me.

Then, as if to remove any doubt of that impression whatsoever, he deleted two threads by DMC saying goodbye to the group - which didn't say a single bad word about Alpinezone - it just said take care and an invitation to hook up "we'll ride at Hunter."

I don't care how you look at it - that is a dickless move. Surprised the hell out of me.

No comment on AZ stuff. I don't have a linc to there from my posts. I come here to be part of this community. I 've said my peace this communtiy had been good to me and AZ. Just make turns. Seems we are all happier when we have snow.

I think you need to ask Greg that question. It sounds like it was a harmless post but Greg may not want other members to know that DMC is no longer posting there.

I lurk there and post on a rare occasion ... also very surprised by the action Greg apparently has taken ... many there may wonder what ever happened to DMC, just as I do about all the posters that were lost when the old HMB went down ... oh well, all we be reunited again somewhere down the trail in snow heaven or hell

Thanks for sharing the picture. I seem to remember that your wife could not partake in eating some of the food at the BBQ because of a medical restriction. She was very nice in sharing her cookies with us.

I posted the links provided by teachski. You should be able to find them further down the page. People here have viewed but made no comments so far.

Atomic is also into gardening big time. Yeti and Big Kahuna are both trying to get rid of some weeds and made posts about them sometime back.
