The lift report shows that the NRT should be running tomorrow. They did have it running
after the accident to get everyone off and it was running empty after that.

After they shut it down I went over to the Poma, and while I was riding up, the person in
front of me was doing wide S turns all the way up. (by the way - KMS kid, just to stir up
that pot...)

Snowden Quad was also down for a short while this afternoon. Rode the triple up and we were going to go over to the North Ridge area, but noticed that chair was running.

Has anyone reported actually seeing this happen?
Incredible snapshots... we're trying to visulize that occuring...

On a brighter note, this snowmaking crew is relentless!
They lit up spillway/runout and on-up today around 3pm.
Hopefully that extra pipe gives them added capacity.

Pretty boney this afternoon. West Glade had the best snow.
Cascade by Christmas...can't remember a season without it?

I don't think the extra pipe is all joined together yet. A few weeks ago when I was riding the gondola and the natural snow had melted, you could see were there was breaks in the pipe, it had not been all welded together.

Iceman and the rest of his team got stuck on Glades triple for more than 1/2 hour. He said they eventually started running it very slowly and that at the top you had to get off very quickly because they were pushing the chairs manually around.

Iceman and another team member were stuck on that lift. He was trying to describe it to me yesterday, said they ran it real slow and patrollers guided each chair around the bent piece as it went by.

Looking at Mister Moose's Picture, there appears to be enough room to the inside of the guide that if the outside skier got off last, and pushed up off the side arm rest of the chair, it could swing inward far enough to snag the guide rail, and track inside of it. The cable pulling it forward would do the rest, and yes it would be the skiers fault.
