If it's a nice warm sunny weekend in may, the mountain makes good money. If it's a cool cloudy/rainy weekend in may, the mountain loses money.

So what's the over under for this year? We got some deep spots, up top and by the entrance to High Road. Some low spots, by tower 2 /3 of course and below High Traverse. Yellow base coming through a few spots. I see they groomed a bit yesterday too.

they'd love to make june, which i don't see. but having skiing, biking & golf memorial weekend is real important to them so my call is the saturday may 27 w walking and perhaps an early close like june 4 last year. base depths are variable. the middle section and lower left (along those towers) seem lower than past seasons and of course skier's right around tower 3.

temps a bit above normal this weekend but overall looks boringly normal over the next 2 weeks which i guess is a good thing. obviously this weekend should be great. following should be ok. after that only mama nature knows ...

^^well, if you'd told me back during the mid april torching we still had a punter's chance at memorial day weekend i'd take it.

without that event we'd likely be thinking june 3 right now.

at this point very stoked for another great weather weekend...especially after the chilly, socked-in days we had earlier this month.

My guess 5/21 unbroken and maybe 5/28 with significant walking and I never would expected even going to that date given mid April.

Nice Spring flags along Access Road with Hannah (I'm assuming) on Superstar! Does anyone know who the other two skiers are behind Hannah?

If im to get 100, i need to ski every operating day until sunday may 28. Not a big deal, but i need memorial day weekend. Sitting at 97 or 98 wouldn't sit right.

Probably do one strip down the middle of supe which will be bumped up by 10. I doubt skyebitter will have made it thru the week.

Just went on the website and it says absolutely no uphill travel is allowed. That is some real bull$hit!

it seems counter-productive but it looka like they may have pushed some snow up preston's to high road.
robbing peter to...pay peter but why else those single lanes groomed days back?
