With spring passes up to $349 and past history to Memorial Day and the forecast later in the week, and hoses still on the guns and some low looking spots, I'd say chances are good.

Wednesday Night Snow showers likely, low around 11. Wind chill values as low as -2. Windy, with a west wind 25 to 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Thursday Mostly sunny, with a high near 13. Windy, with a northwest wind 23 to 26 mph.
Thursday Night Mostly clear, with a low around -2. Blustery, with a northwest wind 16 to 21 mph.
Friday Mostly sunny, with a high near 19. Breezy, with a west wind 15 to 21 mph.
Friday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 6. Breezy, with a west wind 19 to 24 mph decreasing to 11 to 16 mph after midnight.
Saturday Mostly sunny, with a high near 27. West wind 11 to 13 mph.

When I was up a few weeks ago I thought the top of Prestons and the lower portion of the Headwall had a lot. But I thought Middle and the very top were smaller than years past, so I figured they'd give it one more shot.

There are several major intersection that will require one more round if they want any longevity this year. Have you looked at the junction of Upper-Lower Cruise/Great Eastern? That is not going to survive much sun...... a bunch of others like it. Lets pray for a snowy March!

ask and you shall receive. from the snow report ...

Our snowmaking system will be firing away starting in the morning with one objective: boost the springtime depths. Superstar is their first target, so hop on the Superstar Express Quad for a front row seat for the latest gunshow. Crews will also be lighting up on Bittersweet, Lower Chute and Lower Great Northern, along with some spot guns here and there.

Hoses are still attached on Dipper. What's up with that?

Plenty of time in the off season to take them down they aren't needed elsewhere now.

Superstar Spring Quality Stairway.

SSQS, M. Moose, Sec'y.
Bump. Those superstar stairs would come in handy about now.

Stairs on the headwall would have been beneficial this season for exactly 2 afternoons and one morning that also included walking elsewhere. Really not much ROI there.

The interconnect will happen before they put stairs on the "headwall".

Laying mats of the material used on the summer ski jump might work. Set them up to create a lane to get over the rocks.

That’s what they used to do when Cascade was the last trail open, they put the white plastic mats down to get you to the snow

I actually preferred skiing late season from the midstation back in the "day". Personally it was a better venue, but alas its impossible now.

Maybe if the stairs were there, resources and additional snowmaking could be applied elsewhere to prolong the season. The headwall is always the first to go. Why waste so much “energy” in trying to keep it covered?
