I don't know if the window is big enough. Lot of marginal temps at KBL.

That [the two nat trails] was Wednesday [skiable on Tuesday].

They were toast yesterday [Thursday]. Mountain took beating with the Wed/Thu warm weather and precipition. Will need to apply some focus to resurface / rebuild the open terrain.

So you want to close off the Superstar pod for 2 weeks mid season? How's that going to work? You would have to go thru the Rams head / snowshed tunnel to get from one side of the resort to the other.
Actually run a slalom on OL, (done before) mid winter team up with another resort like sugarbush to hold the GS. Run both mens and womens. You can run a GS off of Skypeak quad but why not share the experience with another VT resort.

They started to charge the line up Snowdon today should see middle GN and possibly Middle Bunny/Mouse Trap online tonight if the temps keep dropping. Should see spot guns on Rime in the bad spots and those will be shutdown for opening.

Do you think there's a chance of getting the bubble open for next weekend? They'd need to get Lower Chute, the trail past Bay 1, Upper Bunny, and Killink to make that happen. Hopefully they go there once Superstar is done.

Tough to tell. Doesn't sound like they got much of Snowdon online last night because too much capacity was needed on Rime. So depends on how quick they can get moving over there today... Looks like they can run around the clock until the warm up Wednesday. It will be close but if I was a betting man I would say the odds are fair.

Sunday River is posting 25 acres of open terrain vs Killington’s 14 acres. I bet they open TTB first.

I would hope so, they have a powerful snowmaking system and they've been making snow on and off for weeks. I would assume they'll drop the rope on Lower Punch today. They also aren't hosting a World Cup in a week.

Too bad they don’t use the extra World Cup snowmaking capacity to make up for the capacity they take from the paying customers. Expect the rental compressors to get towed away on Monday 11/29.
