Double Reinbro ... was def interesting.

Edit: It’s a collab with Bolero and Imprint. Wild Ale. Supposed to mimick skittles. It’s pretty gimmicky but that was a lot of hype so I had to try it.

I’ve had some really good sours (Cantillon) and this isn’t one of them. Would not try again ... the hype isn’t warranted.

Believe it or not lots of it is being traded for Treehouse, Alchemist, etc.

Gave this a try after passing up on it for Lucid last week. They’re both solid NEIPAs. I enjoy Lucid more because I can have a couple due to lower ABV ... with the current temps this Double Citra hits hard ....

Where are you getting Second Fiddle around here? Or maybe you’re not.

When the mercury heads towards 90, lighter beers take on an appeal. Picked up this 12 pack a few days ago:

The White has been around a long time, and I usually go through a few of them in a summer. Nice orange coriander wheat beer. Not gold medal worthy, but who cares when you're hot and thirsty. The Light Force is close to beer flavored seltzer, but that can be good on a hot day too. Plus it's pretty well done, none of the adjunct flavors like in the macro light beers. The Boarding pass IPA is decent, Harpoon always put out a good beginner IPA. This case was dated 4/20 (No really, it was dated 4/20) so it took it's sweet time getting to the store. I'm sure this IPA would be a little brighter if it was younger. The peach was a touch tart and a touch fruity to be a favorite, but it's still fine, in other words I don't feel like I wasted 1/3 of the mix pack, but on the other hand I won't be buying any outside of the mix pack either. Whereas I'm a buyer for the White.

On the other end of the Spectrum:

This is a good summer sipper if you manage to find some. It's full flavored without being heavy, and produces a very nice balance of slightly tart without being sour, and fruity-berry without being too fruity. All this and crisp too. Unfortunately 4 tall boys costs about the same as the above 12 pack, but if good beer is involved, well, the swordfish can wait. I also have some Side Business in the fridge.

Had some great NEIPA style brews over the weekend. Pure and Monkish can't really be found out here so they were a special treat.

Walkoff is maybe the best one I’ve had from WFB thus far.

I just picked up some Heady Topper and Focal Banger in Dirty Jersey!!!!

Also, some Equilibrium Joule Triple IPA. Is it 5:00 yet? Not like that’s stopped me before.
Never argue with idiots. They will bring you down to their level, then overwhelm you with their experience.
