O shush. I'm still here. What a crappy, disgusting, and inexcusable loss.

The Eagles, which should be 8-0, maybe 7-1, have beat themselves time and time again. Local sports radio thinks Andy Reid needs to go because of the poor plays he called recently.

I don't thing AR needs to go, but the 5 dropped passes didn't help the Eagles yesterday. Nor did their failure to stop the run ... or their failure to have any offense at all.

If the Eagles want to make the playoffs, they'll need to win in all their away games and loss maybe one home game.

For the most part, I feel the season is over. Then agian, you never know, Eagles can make miracles happen after a bye.

At least your team didn't lose to Cleveland, or the Raiders.

I think the Eagles are still alive and it all comes down to Giants/eagles on 12/17.
But then I look at the Eagles schedule and realize the have NOT BEAT A TEAM THAT CURRENTLY HAS A WINNING RECORD!

It really depends which Eagles show up. I think it can be reasonably concluded that the NYG and Eagles are the top two teams in the NFC east.

Here is how I feel the rest of the season should go.

Hosting DC - Win (5-4)
Hosting TN - Win (6-4)
@ Indy - Loss (6-5)
Hosting Carolina - Win (7-5)
@ DC - Win (8-5)
@ NYG - Close ...
@ Dallas - Close ...
Hosting ATL - Win

Here is how I feel the rest of the (NYG) season should go.

Hosting Houston - Win (6-2)
Hosting Chicago - Loss (6-3)
@ Jacksonville - Win (7-3)
@ Tennessee - Win (8-3)
Hosting Dallas - Win (9-3)
@ Carolina - Win (10-3)
Hosting Philly - Close ...
Hosting NO - Close ...
@ DC - Win

The above being said, the NYG need a upset to really level the playing field. And as you already point out, the Eagles have to win against the NYG. If the Iggles lose to DC and/or TN, the season is over.

the eagles inability to run the ball, ala smashmouth football, has been the reason for the results. You have to be able to control the clock at least a little in the NFL or you end up getting beat.

I put that on AR. We've got the weapons, we need to use them.

Assuming things continue to go how they have been ... what picks would you change? Maybe the Iggles/NYG losing to Carolina? Iggles losing to ATL?

Outside of that, I think the picks are fairly accurate ... unless Jacksonville is explosive against the NYG (which I whole-heartedly welcome!)

i think the picks are good educated guesses as of how things stand now, but you never know how it will go come game time,.. for example,.. if the giants win next week they will be on a 5 game winning streak into the bears game which potentially could change the moral of the team,... also for all teams you dont know how injurys and such will play out,.. so as of now sure good guess,.. but overall pointless

Sure it's pointless ... but you know us Eagles fans ... we have to hope for something :D I'd hope for Eli to get hurt, but that's just wrong.

hey if worst comes to worst the giants can just keep handing the ball to brandon jacobs,...as long as he doesnt hand it back to them everytime he runs 7 guys over like he did sunday
