Finally some fresh snow for the trails! Up in Burlington we have about two inches already with no signs of letting up. I hope the mountains get a foot out of this. Happy trails :D

Lies, lies, no snow on Killington so no need to rush up here. Wind is howling and very warm out. No need to get out there early and such. Stay home or sleep in over the weekend.

Now for the truth. It was snowing hard on the mountain when I left. Temps this morning went above freezing so the lower guns were shut down and counter to a rumor, Superstar quad did not open, probably because they had to turn off the guns.

Temps dropped throughout the day and the surface firmed up later. Locally it is WET precipitation, but supposed to change to 3 to 5 inches of snow. Expect more on the mountain. Hopefully the wind will not kick up for Fridays fun.

Over here on the Western Nipple of the great state of Vermont, the ground is covered for the first time this year. What a beautiful sight, we're happy tonight, dreamin' of the new trails open tomorrow (sorry that didn't rhyme, but who cares!)

I'll be there. From one of my house mates, I hear there's a "whiteout" right now.

What's the matter, people up in VT can't afford cameras, or just don't know how to use them?
