that this is your last weekend for skiing/riding? Is it because your ski house closes or for some other reason?

Flying to ATL next weekend. Ski house is done April 30th. I'd love to ski The LOAF May 5th if they are open. If K looks good May 5th I'll be there!

4/15 is usually my cutoff date which usually coincides with the last weekend for other lifts to run besides SS. Once it goes down to SS, it gets boring for me to ride the same 3 trails over and over and over. If it was the beginning of the season and I was jonesing to ride, I wouldn't mind even one trail over and over, but its the end and I've gotten my fill for the year. Time to move on to other activities (it is beer season after all) - there's always next year.

i'm gonna try to stick it out as long as I can, but once the golf courses start getting into full swing and it starts getting really warm it gets harder and harder to do the drive to K

OK, you just fell from hero worship to merely a good skier in my book. Golf over skiing? Do they have a shuffleboard court too?

Brewfest next weekend, then Cubs game at Wrigley the weekend after that. I'm rallying for a May 13th closing at K, hopefully management will oblidge. Otherwise I'm hiking for patches that weekend (house closing).

Depends on conditions and what's open. It's a 5 hour drive for me to Killington and it's not worth it if just superstar is open.

Obviously if we get more snow it won't be the last weekend for many of us.

But with 60 degree temps for the rest of the week and r*in in the forcast for the end of next week, this might be the last weekend of reallly good snow and open terrain.

However if there is a May snowstorm.............

I probably will be joining the missing in May, or some of it anyway. Dinner on the 4th so drive up Saturday. Hopefully catch Bay1 and a couple turns. Following weekend, if open, Sunday is a graduation dinner on Brother-in-law at his "Yacht and Golf" club. Can't pass that up.

Hiking may be necessary to finish the season.
