That's sad and a bit scary.

Hope for a speedy recovery! Maybe if Killington had some easy warm-up trails, people wouldn't get hurt as much. The 1st run is usually a little clumsy.

Killington, first run of the day, we were coming down Bunny Buster, then down Mouse Trap, which had huge bumps. She took a turn around a bump, ski got caught in the heavy snow and her leg kept on going. Wasn't even a bad fall, I actually laughed at her and made a comment as she very slowly slid down. Then I notice that she wasn't trying to stop herself, I thought something maybe wrong, it was. Got the sled, ambulance, and now here I sit in the hospital. Don't believe it was an issue with the binding, she's taken falls before and they release with no problem, I will have them checked out though. I believe it's just the manner in which she fell. She wasn't going fast, so there wasn't that much pressure on the binding when her leg twisted.
Those slower falls can be worse, less dynamic forces to release the binding. Damn, Andy, hate to hear that. Keep us posted.
