Congratulations to the NY Giants, well played game. They are the Superbowl Champs. One of the better Superbowl games the final 6 minutes if you weren't on the edge of your seat you're not a football fan. Hats off to the Giants today the are;

Nope, giving credit where credit is due. We're just fans....the guys that play the game are the ones the win or loose, but the fans do have a buy in...it's called the price of the ticket, that how we participate.

Again great game and the Giants are Big Blue

Nah ... left Plainview a little bit ago. NY fans were ecstatic .. fireworks and pot and pans were heard all over the place.

Obviously, my colleagues from Boston were less than pleased.

Overall, I felt the commercials sucked and this was one of the most "mellow" Superbowls I've ever seen with the exception of the last 1/3 of the 4th Q.

That was the best 4th quarter of any Super Bowl I can remember. I'm bummed about the outcome but it came as no surprise. The strength of the Giants is their defensive front 7. The Giants were able to capitalize on the weak link of the New England defense... the 'other' cornerback (Randall Gay or Ellis Hobbs) and pretty much neutralized the New England pass rush. In the final drive, Eli made the big play in avoiding a sure sack and completing (barely) a pass for a first down to his tight end.

Congrats to Giants fans. The only down side is we'll now have two Mannings doing commercials 24x7.

Pitchers and Catchers report on February 15th. 11 sports-free days.

I was thinking a few years back that play might have been whistled dead for being "in the grasp". Remember those days?
