Snowbird open until at least JUNE 15TH.....

The Tram maintenance has been completed ahead of schedule and the new Spring schedule was released today. As of now the lifts will be turning through June 15, with the possibility of more weekends depending on what the weather does. Right now there is 110" of snow at mid mountain...

May 30 through June 1
Open lifts (9 am – 3 pm): The Tram, Mineral Basin Express and Little Cloud. Mineral Basin Express will close at 2:30 pm.
June 2 through June 5
Ski area is closed during weekdays. We will re-open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, conditions permitting.
June 6 through June 8
Open lifts (9 am – 3 pm): The Tram, Mineral Basin Express and Little Cloud. Mineral Basin Express is conditions permitting and will close at 2:30 pm.
June 9 through June 12
Ski area is closed during weekdays. We will re-open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, conditions permitting.
June 13 through June 15
Open lifts (9 am – 3 pm): The Tram and Little Cloud. Scenic Tram rides available until 8 p.m. (no skis or boards allowed).
This is the final scheduled weekend of skiing and riding for the 2007/08 season. Additional weekends of skiing MAY be added, conditions permitting. The Tram will start a summer schedule on June 13, conditions permitting.
*Spring skiing operation will be subject to weather, mountain conditions, business levels, and construction schedules and may be cancelled due to poor conditions or lack of snow.
Wait for it:
KILLINGTON = FAIL.
PARK CITY = FAIL.
POWDR = FAIL.
JOHN CUMMING = FAIL.

This is clearly a lie or an imposter, as Killington has told us you cannot operate weekends only early or late season.

Its too bad POWDR has never heard of Snowbird and their ablity to operate deep into the spring...!!!
....where is POWDR located anyway....must be pretty far from Snowbird.....

Actually if you headed into park city right now........you'd barely find a patch of snow...
Snowbird on the other hand is in the wasatch FRONT......and holds snow soooooo well..

the extended spring season of skiing is cool, but it's really all about the summer schedule on the tram, and then head over to the baldy chutes for >tux skiing without the in/out hike.
and yes, kton = fail

MAY DAYS - SNOW IN COLORADO for MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!
Most all Colorado resorts are closed, but A-Basin keeps going with recent snow, with recent (5-23) snow.

aint it the truth...in fact you dont even need the tram for that...i been doing it for weeks now

pool table smooth corn and not a sole in sight....its soooo great.
Granted the walk back to snowbird isnt all that fun, but.....

Snowbird is open cause its got snow and is worth skiing. Not like that rotted out POS that HS thinks is worth dirt skiing on way past when it should close.
