Word on the street is that all the detachable quads were not operating on Saturday (at least until noon, maybe later) due to ice and they were still charging full price for the lift tickets. That is BS in my opinion. They have some ballz to pull that sh!t. My source said they just growled at the ticket seller and went back home in disgust and got their drink on.

Reduced product should equal reduced cost.

AND that is exactly why people don't want to loose the Snowden Quad here. But looking fwrd. to WED. not back to Sat. and Wed. is supposed to be a Gorgeous day here in the North east !
AND THIS FROM TOAYS MT. SNOW REPORT
The good news is that we’ve picked up 9” of new snow in the last two days. Unfortunately, we also had some freezing r*in that has iced up on some of our lifts. In addition; the wind is still strong causing holds on some lifts too. There is a very good chance that we will be unable to open the Grand Summit Express today, even if we are successful with de-icing it. As of right now we have 7 lifts running.
SWEEET save it till WED

Any interest in a road trip for St Patty's Day?

Mount Snow? Seriously?

Where anything green and you can ski Mad River Glen on St. Patty's Day for the same $17.

Not much of a choice, especially since MRG will be sunny and 50 as well. Spring corn bumps all over Gen Stark Mtn.

Mt Snow, ha.

Mad River Glen...ski it if you can.

Your boss is an A$$HAT, but he let's you get alot of time off to go skiing so you can't complain. We would luv to do the MRG thing in the middle of the week but Mt.Snow is a ez day trip where as MRG is a HAUL .

Tell me you cut and pasted this and it was the MRG IT or Marketing that made this mistake. If not, I NEVER want to hear about my spelling or writing from you again. Frau Sehr agrees!

Not much of a choice? Getting up two hours earlier to drive to MRG for a Wednesday when Mount Snow just got 10 inches and is covered in bumps? That's a "ha" and stupid to me, especially considering the MS discount would be $52 off, MR would be $22.

$17 is $17 no matter what the discount. Take into account the fact that if YOU would drive to Mt. Snow for a special event and not MRG due to distance, how many of your closest friends would do so? I did my 2 days at Mt. Snow this year and that is enough thank you.

Jr., If I can figure how to appease the home front, I will head back up Tuesday for a Patty Day trip to MRG on Wednesday, Where or Wear or not. I will TRY to remember to wear GREEEN! (hell I look Irish, what do I need green for?)
