Coming off their by week. Turnovers/or had taken away(two plays GB stripped the Jet receivers),missed field goal, they look as bad or worse than they did in game 1.

Not to mention at least a half dozen dropped passes....definitely a bad day offensively.

The BYE week seems to have hurt the Jets as they looked flat, BUT the Packers ,ESPECIALLY Clay Matthews have something to say on Defense ! But a SHUTOUT at home...OUCH !

Those two "interceptions" were dubious calls. That fake punt was a stupid call since the Packers weren't moving the ball at all against the Jets D. I still think the Jets are good enough to make the Super Bowl. They lost to a lesser team today.

yeah how could it be an int when the receiver was flat on his back?

But like I said in chatter the week off hurt the offense. Receivers were really bad. Defense was good though. Green bay defense looked good.

Tomlinson has had consecutive games with 55 yards and a low per-carry average. Maybe San Diego knew something?

See Patriots loss vs Giants.

On any given Sunday ....

The Jets play calling was horrendous ,the fake punt and how many times at 2nd and 5 and 3rd and 5 do you throw back to back 30-40 yard passes ? Or if you know it is 4 down territory run something that makes the next down easier instead of again throwing bombs on all 3 plays. It was as if the Jets offense didn't want to work for it but instead they wanted to take the lead by making 1 play. And because they got caught up trying to make the 1 big play they couldn't put a couple nice short plays together.....it's called a DRIVE !

What we're finding out this morning is the fake punt was Weathefords call. Apparently he's got carte blanche to call that play himself whenever he wants since he's a pretty good athlete. Additionally he wasn't aware it was 4th and 19 he thought it was 4th and 9. Wondering why nobody else in the huddle didn't point that out to him. Bonehead move on his part no doubt.

Well, giving the punter freedom to call the play falls on Ryan and Westhoff. Not faulting them if Weatherford made a bad decision. If I were them though, I would take away that privilege.

The call was no worse than calling an onside kick. It was early in the game, the defense held. Sure it was a risk, but stupid? I disagree.

It was stupid because he thought it was 4th and 9. 19 yards to go in your own end is simply too much.

I'll bet carte blanche gets revoked on Tuesday.

In other news....

The Patriots have the best record in the league. With upcoming games against Indy, Pittsburgh, Green Bay, and another pass through the AFC-East, I doubt I'll be able to say that in January. I still think the Jets are the favorite to win the division if Sanchez is average the rest of the way and Tomlinson rushes for more than 55 yards per game / low 3's per carry.

Carolina continues to suck so that second round draft pick is looking like the #38 pick in the draft. Freakin' Oakland has turned into a scoring machine. Their #1 pick no longer looks as good. It would really suck if they made the playoffs. I'm now a KC fan since Denver and San Diego aren't putting Oakland in their rightful place. The 2011 Patriots with two #1's, two #2's, and two #3's will be an even faster & more athletic team.

Steelers[edit Green Bay] never saw it coming. No one goes for it on 4th and 20... Like the onside kick in the superbowl. I figured Rex was showing his arrogance again. I didn't see the comments by Weatherford. I assumed the head coach made decisions on sh*t like that.
