You can't make this sh*t up
Seriously, this "boat" couldn't even make it in Lake Champlain and they expected to sail it in the open ocean?

BTW, you really shouldn't just post articles or SKI will get after you.
Only article he wants posted is when his boss is finally released from the halfway house.

I could care less about the article , but when you start trash talking my "hippy-dippy" brethren then I get upset. Just keep your ultra right-wing-carl-rove-GWB-conservative self back in that sorry excuse for a state... Is it still a state, or did SE mass and CT swallow it up yet?SnoBrdr wrote:The "Captain" and "crew" are those hippy - dippy types.Bubba wrote:Seriously, this "boat" couldn't even make it in Lake Champlain and they expected to sail it in the open ocean?

You forgot about the Mafia presence in Rhode Island. Saw that story yesterday. Only in Vermont. They were beginning on a "Round The World Trip" and couldn't get 25 miles in a lake. Prolly good they never made it to an ocean or a bigger lake.

C'mon guys, be fair. The lake wasn't the problem. It was the shore. The middle of the North Atlantic doesn't have any shore; they'd have been fine.

From Poppa Neutrino's website:
Neutrino Ideas
Though the Floating Neutrinos are most famous for high profile adventures such as the Atlantic Crossing by Scrap Raft, behind all these outward efforts was something much deeper. On one level, we were creating and demonstrating viable alternatives to modern tendencies toward imitation, factory made consumerism, and loss of individual creativity. At the same time, our outer projects were merely foils for our inner work: an ongoing experiment in human psychology, searching for answers to what makes us function and malfunction, and how to increase our own and others' abilities to create meaningful and fulfilling lives. Through intense, though informal, group psychological work with people from all walks of life, from millionaires to homeless alcoholics, we have created and developed a "toolbox" of highly effective techniques for psychological healing and empowerment. What is presented here are some of the results of nearly 30 years of psychological study, self-observation, and group interaction.
