Might even get some accumulations at elevation. Noticed some areas on the hill today had 1 to 2 inches of fresh (hiding the frozen disaster beneath).

Sun was battling the morning snow squalls. Summit temperature of 23 degrees with a couple inches of damp snow covering the frozen surface. Hail pelted my face as the sunglasses that I was wearing offered little protection. Groomed trails with the new snow mixed in made a fine combination. New snow was not deep enough to fix the frozen lunar surface of the ungroomed trails. Two groomer wide track on Lower East Fall was full of soft chunky hazards. Best morning runs were found on Skylark and Bittersweet. Kind of a return to winter day with sprigs of spring tossed in.
