Vail Ski Patrol’s latest recruit: 10-week-old Jake. Jake, a yellow lab, got his first taste of snow at the top of Vail this morning [April 9]. He’ll be working with trainer and Vail Patroller, Matt Whalen, to master obedience skills, get used to riding chairlifts and train in avalanche rescue
