When I lived in NH I use to hear from the old timers that when there were alot of acorns it was going to be a particularly snowy winter.

I feel like such a smartass today...

When the leaves fall of the trees...snow is on the way.

When the weatherman says, "snow tomorrow"...snow is on the way.

When its snowing in westen MA...snow is on the way.

When I forget to make sure the snowblower will start...snow is on the way.

When I can't go skiing some weekend...snow is on the way.

When I make my trip out West...snow is on the way (for the East).

If you live in Tahoe...snow is on the way

When I can't sleep the night before skiing...it must be cuz snow is on the way!

I can usually tell if it's going to snow soon because I get a particular type of pain in my leg pretty much every time. And it's not old age because this has been happening since I can remember!

I have heard it many times up here in Vermont from old farmers... they said it depends on the size of the bee hives!

So Stormin can you ask one of these old farmers next fall to let you know if it going to be a snowy winter and then in turn let the rest of us know. Thanks.
