What are they calling for up there tomorrow? Heard it might linger for a couple of days.

And a small shift in the temperatures or track of the main storm energy will cut that forecast in half. So prepare for anything possible, do not be disappointed when there is something less than 3 feet. Just enjoy what comes down and enjoy it more if the storm over delivers.

I think freshies will be adding up right thru into Friday morning. Which is right about the same time that I feel an illness coming on......

I think everyone should stay away until Friday - the roads will not be safe at all.

Mountain-forecast always seems to exaggerate, but even noaa is calling for nearly 2 feet.

I'm driving to Lake Placid on Friday morning at 4am - hopefully the road will be ok by then.

Single chair blog seems to be pretty close this year, and years past. Figure 12-16" is nice and I will take it. That said, snow totals this year have outperformed for the most part, unlike the last 3 years, so perhaps we will be dancing the jig after this one. Fingers crossed.

That mountain forecast figure has already dropped dramatically.

NOAA is currently forecasting 13 to 21 inches at elevation (3500ft).

We'll see. Regardless, I would not plan on driving up there Wednesday evening.

Ya - why would you want to ski a 2 footer tomorrow.

We'll save you some packed powder on Saturday.
