All You Lefties!

Hi K people! This may seem like weird post, but did you know that left handed people tend to be better at sports than right handed people? This is historically true. I'm doing my thesis in sports psychology and this is one of the topics I find intriguing and trying to incorporate. So, as you may or may not know, lefties only comprise 10% of the population, making them a rare commodity.
I bring this up because I come from a large family and my younger brother and I are both lefties. Our family has been skiing at Killington for many years. I'm trying just trying to come up with data/examples (non-scientific in this case) of lefties in the sports domain. In pro sports, lefties are coveted because of their uniqueness and their ability to alter strategy of opposing teams/opponents. Think boxing south paws and pitchers.
Anyway, my leftie brother and I were always the best skiers/skaters/golfers in the family. We're also both extremely ambidextrous. So I'm just throwing this out here to get thoughts, ideas and experiences. Who of you all are lefties or have them in your circle? Just tying to get peoples thoughts. Again. Not scientific. Just random fun.
Thank you,
Meg.
Oh. And sorry for the long post. Just looked back on it. Wordy.

I'm a lefty and probably the best skier on the KZone, so yes, your theory has a lot of merit.

My daughter is a lefty and she is a good skier and tennis player. Much more athletic than her brother. In Tennis she has a natural advantage and other team coaches warn their players, but they can't seem to compensate.

Meghan .. including this element in your thesis and defending that to a right handed professor may be problematic.
Pro call out on Angus ..
It's Gaffney Numerical Assessment of Radness.
McConkey never knew anyone named Kaffney.
Gnome out.

Oh boy! You guys are funny. Thanks. Just bear with me. I'll look at this stuff later.
Hey! BTW. Do you always double space after ending a sentence? I just noticed myself doing it, but I always have. It was the way I was taught. It's funny because I have friends who have never heard of this.

I always double space too - hard to break old taught habits!! Righty here, but my mother was a lefty that was forced to learn righty - it was that way then! None of her six offspring were lefties?!?!
Good luck Meghanski - can be crude around here
