Maybe they can move the NRT over there for next year...

Skiing was A plus, still having issues updating for late openings on chairs on web page. Understanding issues with employees getting to work but that wasn't the case. Killington needs to stop having a specific operating agenda allow employees to make decisions early then post them on the web earlier.

Ya, that will work out just fine.

Not every employee, something isn't working with being upfront on updates. Maybe when powder or liquid precipatation is predicted you get everything organized a little earlier. Seems like little variation from operating schedule with the exception of grooming today which was good.

What an awesome day. The snow was light like you get out west. Stuck mostly to the trees which skied beautifully except for a portion near the exit of Juanita which had a lot of rocks that we had to deal with. Did a lot of tree runs that I had not done in years and made fresh tracks in most of them. In one of those tree runs the snow was knee deep probably because no one else had skied it. The only trails we did was Great Northern to Mouse Trap to get to the bubble chair and Conclusion to get to K1. Lines were very long at the K1 and the bubble chair. Heard from others that NorthStar, Vertigo and some others that I cannot recall now were skiing great. I am happily exhausted tonight.

While riding the gondola and the bubble chair heard people complaining about all the moguls that they found on the trails. They expected Killington to groom things during the day. Unbelievable.

Ahh... sorry you couldn’t stick around. Once they opened the summit it was like a whole second powder day all over again.

The average occasional skier does not know how to ski in powdery conditions. I one time had someone explain their theory to me that advertising fresh powder skiing was a marketing scam as it saved the resorts from spending money on labor for grooming.

Best day of the year for me. SBF and crew picked me up at 7AM. Earliest I’ve ever stood in the K1 line. Hit Anarcy first with lots of hoots and hollers. Stayed on that ridge for about an hour, then started hitting all the undisclosed woods runs. Pizza at a packed bear mtn then back to growler and needles woods. Legs went toast at 3;30. Wow. That was a good day.

Early / Late Day Report. Went out at opening bell, skied for a few hours and went home for lunch and shoveling. Back out for last coupla hours of the day. Plenty of untracked pow in the morning; not the lightest I've seen, but just what the doctor ordered. Crazy moguls / whoop-de-doos / fallen skiers and riders later in the day.

ROTD: Second run down Dream Maker. Untracked quad deep pow on the backsides of the big jumps. Then, under the senseless rope at the last bail out before the pipe to an open field with a perfect pitch for the almost waist deep snow. Note: Seemed to me that Bear got more snow than up top ??

Several great runs in the morning with from Superstar area to South Ridge. After our lunch break, checked out Snowdon, Rams Head, and Canyon areas. Great woods runs and other trails until we quit at 3:30 for Happy Hour at our favorite watering hole.

Great to see the big dump came through !!

Ahhh? What? Maybe because it snowed. Maybe the wind pushed it? It has nothing to do with whether it had been skied before.

Fun but very mixed quality snow early on, super bumps later, everywhere. Enough with the washboard flats! OMG. After you burn your legs up on the bumps, you get beaten up and bruised by the washboard runouts. Can we please just point em on the flats?

Lots of way-over-their-head-can't-do-a-snow-plow-turn folks on heavily bumped blue trails. Skyehawk was in rare fine form.
