Interview - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J4rY-KL2JHI
On October 27, one week before Election Day, Greene sat down for a live interview with pro-gun activist Chris Dorr broadcast on Facebook from a Pennsylvania gun shop. In the 22-minute video, posted by the Pennsylvania Firearms Association, the two held forth about the Second Amendment and the necessity of backing Trump and other far-right Republicans in the election. Greene warned ominously about fending off “socialists” like Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders, claiming they would confiscate Americans’ guns. “If this generation doesn’t stand up and defend freedom, it’s gone,” Greene said, addressing viewers. “And once it’s gone, freedom doesn’t come back by itself. The only way you get your freedoms back is it’s earned with the price of blood.”

Pretty benign by her standards compared to all the other crazy town stuff she's floated out there over the years.

No doubt it's a dog whistle though.

Kind of late though no? I thought Obama took everyone's guns already

Green is a Political Theatre Production figure .. Retrumplicans will use her until her value erodes and eventually dissipates.
She's more radically insane than AOC or the 'squad' could ever hope to be. 'Like a miracle, she will disappear.'
Feel sorry for her braindead constituents .. perhaps they thought the Green New Deal was something else

Here is one of 11 legislative actions Green is involve with .. launched 1 day after inauguration .. lots of support

11. H.Res.57 — 117th Congress (2021-2022)
Impeaching Joseph R. Biden, President of the United States, for abuse of power by enabling bribery and other high crimes and misdemeanors.
Sponsor: Rep. Greene, Marjorie Taylor [R-GA-14] (Introduced 01/21/2021) Cosponsors: (0)
Committees: House - Judiciary
Latest Action: House - 01/21/2021 Referred to the House Committee on the Judiciary. (All Actions)

11 Republicans join with Democrats to remove MTG from all committee assignments. Good to see some level of bipartisanship on the hill. Let's seen if they expel her next.

MTG's speech in defense of herself was interesting. She blamed social media companies for presenting her with these Qanon conspiracy theories and for allowing her to believe them. Seems like she's now in favor of letting social media companies censor this type of material?

Yet 61 republicans voted to strip Liz Cheney of her leadership position.

So more of the Republican Party is in support of a kook like MTG than a respected leader like Liz Cheney.

Seems like the Republican Party has turned into the party of QAnon, loonies and conspiracy theories instead of the party of fiscal conservatism and personal responsibility.

Precisely. Primaries for 2024 I suspect will be dominated by folks like MTG, Gaetz, Cruz, Hawley, etc. Easy pickings for the Democrats so long as Biden stays close to center, albeit a little left.

True, but keep in mind 145 voted for her to retain her position.

No question, the Republican party has become deeply divided thanks to Trump. They have to expel the cancer of this Qanon loony business if they ever hope to get back control of either house of congress. I hope they do it quickly because until they do, we might be stuck with a 1 party government.

Will Nebraska GOP censure Ben Sasse again?

Pleased to see my Representative, Brian Fitzpatrick, does indeed have a spine. However, he did vote against impeachment.

Surprised Cheney isn't one of the 11.
