Interesting would've though for sure it was Europe with the top of a surface lift in the foreground...

That's not a surface lift. It is an avalanche bomb pulley. But this ski area does have several surface lifts.

That's me and my son in the photo. Knowing that, you may be able to narrow down the choices to previously disclosed locations.

I will throw a guess in. Either Banff or Red. One of the Humps blew out his/her knee there. Some of you know that story.
