Sunday 4/24 Report

Post by RustyK »

Out around 11 with Skiergirl. Bay one to Bubble for a few laps and found Liv4ski

Northridge laps on West Glade nice. Found SBF and Bend Z Knees.

Saw the Wizard in the woods. Not bad...some minor debris..

Downdraft headwall open and nice. Had to hit that a few more times.

Bay One had Gsmashed, Phanton and daytripper...stopped for a lunchtime brew.

Hannah out there showing the KMS Kids the goods.

Back up top, closed the peak bar with Katie and many friends.

Last run on Downdraft sweet with sun and corn.

All the zoners still at Bay One including Rogman, GIS and Moose. Good grilling.

Good day for the last lift supplied turns in the canyon.

Rusty I love that picture. So nice to see Hannah helping kids. I remember when her parents were skiing with her when she was even younger than those kids and I am so proud that she's become such a great athlete and made the Olympics this year. She's an awesome person.

Afternoon Report: Good day that got better with age. Late day sun made for great closing bell laps and perfect apres-ski parking lot resting. Started at the bubble, some laps at Ramshead, then Snowdon, then the peak / North Ridge. Never made it over to Supe area.

ROTD: Late day Downdraft.

At Rams Head, Peace Park was packed with leaping lizards. Run down Swirl etc was quite bare with a few nice corn turn sections. Caper actually good back to Snowdon.

Cascade and Downdraft were the best of the day. One run down LEF was quite enough with very marginal cover in a lot of places and then good at the bottom.
Goes to show, you don't never know
Watch each card you play, and play it slow
Don't you let that deal go down
