Epic Passes for 2023-2024

Post by PinnacleJim »

Epic passes for next season are out. Prices up a bit but still below pre-pandemic pricing. The Epic Local pass remains the best value in skiing.

Don't forget to factor in 30 dollars for parking every visit. Expect more of their resorts to have paid parking next year.

If you think paid parking is only a Vail Resorts Issue, read this about our sister POWDR resort in Colorado. Or what about A-Basin which is on the IKON pass? How long before the K1 lot is a pay lot?

Well aware of the Copper situation, but Vail Resorts is still the worst offender of charging for parking. I made sure to put in the guest survey that I did not want paid parking expanded at Killington.

Never argue with idiots. They will bring you down to their level, then overwhelm you with their experience.

I"m headed to Denver tomorrow for work. Staying over the weekend and going to Keystone and A Basin over the weekend. Taking the buses from my hotel in Silverthorne to AB on Saturday and taking the "Bustang" back to Denver after skiing. Need a place to put all my luggage and laptop bag while I ski (checking out of my hotel Saturday AM in Silverthorne) so I called AB and asked what they had available for larger items. Talked to a mgt guy there and explained my situation. He said that since I was taking public transport and not using their parking lot that he would allow me to store my stuff in his office while I skiied! He said they are trying as hard as possible to encourage people NOT to drive the mountain and thus he was "rewarding me". So if AB has paid parking or is about to implement it, maybe it's to incentivize skiers to take public transportation not to punish them or make more money.

while i'm very happy w the beast 365, admittedly $909 for unlimited access to all those ski areas is an amazing deal. will probably spring for the epic for next season.

You continue to show how much of a f*** clown you are. You do realize that the town of Vail charges to park in Vail, not Vail resorts, correct?

Beaver Creak is $10 per day, Keystone has $0 parking at many lots, Breck offers free parking on Airport Road.

I was referring to Stowe. With any pass purchase, it is extremely important that you factor in ancillary charges.

Ski-in .. ski-out removes parking from the equation entirely.
That, or the shuttle to most of those resorts is a viable solution.

Will be interesting to see if LCC can get support for their ‘lift’ proposal .. the bouldering community is up in arms.
Whistler and others should abandon Vail .. to the shareholders dismay.

Whistler can't abandon Vail, but Vail can abandon any of their properties. Some people might say they already have...
