No Uphill at Pico?
The conditions report says all uphill at Pico closed? Anyone know why that is?

Because Pico closed for the season yesterday.

It does seem odd. I never really paid close attention it I don’t ever remember them specifically saying uphill was closed after the lifts closed for the season.
Don't Killington Pico
Re: No Uphill at Pico?
Because pico was frozen yesterday , the only trails skiable yesterday morning at killington trails that were groomed since pico is closed there were no groomed trails

If it’s closed don’t go it’s closed for a reason , a few years ago someone went when it was closed , crashed and slid down the mountain and had to be rescued , putting everyone in harms way to get him out

When I spoke to Rich McCoy yesterday, he told me that the Bicknell Thrush are mating in the Summit Glades area right now so they closed the area out of an abundance of caution. I assume this is just lip service to the environmentalists before the eventual announcement of the Interconnect.
