It’s straight nector out bro. Surfin. Low tide in places but the superstar is deep with overhead swells. Beer is flowing. Saw a bikini. Getting that tan. Send it.

4/22/23 The real Saturday report! 8am
A slight problem with k1 58 got stuck and the k1 box I was in tapped #58. 58 emptied out and the lift mechanics had to push it in place. #58 was out of service for the rest of the day. A few mechanics went up on top of the lift and made an adjustment. Lift opers do a great job. It was windy early.
Tracey and I got to ski all morning together.

Early foggy and cold conditions at North Ridge. Firm snow up top.
The snow is going fast. Few people up there early because of visibility.
Made a lot of runs up there. Come down through Snowdon to k1. Snowdon was busy.
Then onto the 6 pack for several good runs.
Most people were on double dipper or super star.
A great spring day with adaptable conditions!
Thanks K opers for making the snow last.

The Killington Pass holder lunch was very good. Thank you.
The music entertainment was good.

The regular Bay 1 peeps were great as usual.
Thanks for always being there for all
Of us to enjoy. I got to meet some new peeps!
Happy Spring Skiing. I hope to see you again soon.

Excuse the potentially stupid question but where is the Vale lot?

Off of Vale Rd. First right turn after Ramshead.

a rather yucky morning as a curtain of fog draped the mtn. mighty breezy and goggle wiping was required during 10-12 shift. viz very poor.

snowdon went out w a wimper as the main route was soft snow on top of base ice. same in the NR where ridge run was surprisingly open (did not ski it). a groomed dipper skied very well and my rotd. tons of snow on it. supe good if you could see the bumps. skye/bitter route fine. guessing highline & mid o were still good but gave up skiing.

the real rotd was the passholder lunch. instead of the usual burger, there many options. you got sides and a drink. kudos to the mtn for once again exceeding expectations.

except for the most hardy who will be out tomorrow, superstar season begins ...

And then there's the afternoon Report: Stuff started clearing after the 100-day pic / first band starting. Got better and better until about 4:15 when dark clouds came in [but no fog].

Opener on Snowdon [Bunny -> Chute was WROTD. Not too bad considering. Down to Rams Head where Swirl was mostly a great corn run with partial sun sneaking in from time to time. Timberline busy as hell with the park rats [good for them - lots of 'em having a blast there today] and still a fun run to ski. Caper was actually pretty good, and way better than I expected.

Mouse Run -> Mouse Trap very good. Right side of Mouse Trap after the "break" was excellent]. Highline still very good, and in perfect softness at 3:00 or so.

Both the open runs in North Ridge were very good by then. Ridge Run was closed.

ROTD: Double Dipper. Downdraft right behind. Caught the last two lift served runs there with the last one being the most people I have ever seen coming down those two trails [after Last Chair gondi cabins let out].

Kudos to K for running the North Ridge chair today [though it should have been runnng all week so you don't have to take the packed in germ box to get up top].

Final lap on Skyelark pretty good. Lower Skyelark, going fast was really good except for the "thin spot".

Awesome K-Style Apres Ski starting with the second badn [pretty good] and then the tailgates.

The day's adventure was to ski every open trail. Was a great way to say good bye to a great season around the resort. Enjoyed creamy corn on Rams Head. Downdraft and Double Dip very nice, appreciate the run out being groomed again. Sky Hawk good, but loosing it. Lower Lark skiers left very smooth. Enjoyed double power hour with Skiddy once again. Last run at 5pm, love that!
