Would you want to report to those 3 select board members?

I hope the select board solicits the advice of counsel in addition to the aforementioned council.

You are probably correct by one third.

Witnesses claim Haff, was seen corralling actual ducks around the town hall, insisting this was crucial for municipal order. The town now faces the dual challenge of finding a new manager and managing Haff's newfound feathered friends.

Doesn't sound so contentious an issue, selectboard covering the bases.

Understand JH doesn't appeal to all, did learn across a few years interacting with him though, just how much he cares about the town of killington. he truly does.

Bubba, you'd make a fine rep - full time and across multiple decades no less. :like

He needs to go back to managing the transfer station.

This is the print article that came out today. Couple of interesting quotes.

https://mountaintimes.info/2024/08/07/k ... y-resigns/
”There’ll be things I’ll have to leave on the plate, but I’m hoping to get some of the bigger financial deals with banks and loans in a better place so it’ll be an easier transition for the town,” Ramsey said in an interview, Monday. “I’m sad to leave, but I think it’s the right choice for me and the town at this point,” he continued. “I want to be part of an organization where I can have more autonomy,” he said, adding that he’d like to get back into conservation, which “aligns well with my values.”
When pushed to explain his reason for resigning, Ramsey said: “Some relationships had reached a level of conflict that were too hard to come back from … so I saw that it was best to step back… a new person can come in at the ground level and hopefully have success from there. I wish the town all the best.”

When asked to specify, Ramsey declined.

In a letter Ramsey wrote to employees on Tuesday, he said: “You deserve an open and honest answer for why I’m leaving, but the role calls for me to keep formal announcements like this relatively vanilla… my values, experiences, and beliefs are driving me in a different direction.”

Hi all from a HR Human Resources stand point the town select board one member that appears to be God does not get it. The town needs to consult with a professional Hunan Resources person and stop changing the rules for each person.
People you need to make the select board work for you as you elected them. I suggest a you the voters get a committee together to manage the select people and what they are doing. Also in a small town the select
Board should be saving money as to not burden all the locals that were born here. Trim expenses.

I serve on a village board where I live and we monitor our councilors. We are volunteers.
On our board are 3 lawyers, IT, Accountant, a writer researcher and HR. We have the education and experience to run our little sub village of a bigger city.

It just amazes me how in unprofessional the K town
Management is. Micromanaging doesn’t work for the select board.
The town manager should have autonomy.
You all lost a good skilled town manager.

An employee leaving after 36 years of service that knows how to do the job was outrageous. I know his dad for many years.
Because of this the highway department voted in a union for their job protection..
Overall it’s a big embarrassment.

My two cents . I love K but am embarrassed as how it is being run. Yes I have walked in those shoes before.

Spot. On. Haffwit is a tool…. Karr is virtually a conflict of interest. K has habitually spent $$$&$…. Without a clue where it’ll come from. Vt as a whole… ain’t a bit better. I’m 50+ years making joyous times and snowy turns here…. Figured another 4…5 years and I’d leave Mass for good and go full time in my lil place off West Hill…. The tax debacle will surely be the coffin mail in those long trusted plans. Not liking what I foresee……

As an outsider looking in this 100% accurate statement. It's actually strangely bizarre. I live in PA and we have all kinds of idiots in "power" but never to the level of ineptitude that I have seen over the years while "following" Killington.
