Re: Killington: A chronic underachiever

The parking hoestly is about as good as it gets, almost any day I want I can pull up to almost any base area and walk less then 100 yrds to a lift. If anything a "village" would only make the parking scenario worse. Go to the competitors, you are guaranteed to ride some type of a shuttle f...

Re: Northeast Skiology or Clownology . . . .

When asked why his page has become increasingly filled with political bias, he said he is a centrist, not leaning left or right, which is clearly BS. And when you tell him fats about the industry that are contrary to his opinion, he is always right, because, you know, my longstanding business relati...

Re: Dedicated Express Access Lanes

I would not call these people the convenient term of "anti-vaxxers" I would say they are independent thinkers most of which have natural immunity do to previous infection which is stronger than that provided by the treatment, with a lack of long term data(as it relates to side affects), m...

Re: Dedicated Express Access Lanes

Could it be, Sherlock, that those opposed to getting the shot have had the China virus and now have natural immunity? So, you're suggesting that these people would prefer to lose their job rather than get a free vaccine just because they think it's unnecessary? And even though the prevailing medica...

Re: Dedicated Express Access Lanes

I have a feeling with the mandate coming down the pipe, this is the least of their problems. Lots of staff will be leaving and they already cant find enough for fall, let alone winter.

Re: Vail Resorts Capital Plan

The Bear project was shrunk from the original plan submit to the DRB. Last I knew he pulled the plug on the development as he could not get contractors to commit to costs. It is hard to speculate when you do not know the cost. My gut feeling is he may have missed his window. With no Act 250 applicat...

Re: What now? A labor shortage...

I think a more specific question on this subject in the Killington (or VT in general) is- Where will they live? If you cant find a place to live, you cant work in that place.

Re: Anyone been over by the Jug recently ?

The last couple times I've been up golfing I thought I've heard chainsaws running up high. Was I hearing things or are they doing some maintenance. I'd love to help! A few spots are getting overgrown. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk The Honduran trail crews have been out clearing the steep ter...

Re: Opening Day poll

in order to answer, I would need to know if they will only once top to bottom or if the catwalk is in play this year..... You mean stairway to heaven I believe, catwalk is the hike to trail at the peak. Nope, I meant 'the catwalk", not catwalk, lol, Catwalk is the trail off of the peak, not th...

I should know this, what is the zoning over there?

Re: Sunrise triple and SunDog trail open late December?

After Jeff Temples apology letter to Sunrise, I do hope the 1 week from Bear is honored. I think 30% is reasonable figure too. Seacoaster, thanks on Spruce Glen, hindsight is 20/20 though. It was on market 8 months and I've put $250k in to it, was a different market 4 or 5 years ago. Summer busines...

Re: Sunrise triple and SunDog trail open late December?

I bought a sunrise unit twelve years ago when I was single for personal use. I bought Spruce Glen to have an option to build a trailside home rather than a condo at some point in future. And I bought trail creek as it’s walking distance to ski school for kids. It’s a 2nd job and side hustle for me ...

Re: Pickle Barrel

If you already can't get the staff you need, requiring a the shot seems to only further reduce the pool of applicants. I wonder if we will be asking for chickenpox vaccine cards soon? Or if folks have kept up with their boosters? With the vaccinated becoming possible super spreaders when Asymptomati...
