Just to be clear, I'm well aware of the fact that Killington made snow early this morning. Killington is so aggressive at being first and also at attacking Superstar for the WC race, that they will go after anything that comes their way. They should be even colder tonight...but this snow will not be enough and it will not last.
After tonight's marginal snowmaking window (better than last night) they're going to have a hard time finding below freezing temps, and it should r*in on Tuesday also. It just simply won't last. We're looking at around November 3rd for the potential of even colder air as I indicated in this afternoon's weather post, and I believe there is a pretty good chance of opening by November 7th.
I'm not wrong about this.

In my opinion, his posts on Killington are generally more negative than positive. Though he's not wrong about the fact that this time of year, they will make snow whenever it's cold enough, even if it's all going to melt the next day.
