The guy in that photo is dropping his left hand too far back. I have the same habit in the steep powder as well.

I made the same mistake commenting on a pix of "SCS" skiing @ whistler...It is hard to tell if someone is "Doing it right/wrong" without seeing a sequence of photos of the same turn or multiple turns.spanky wrote:The guy in that photo is dropping his left hand too far back. A lot of Pro skiers put themselfs into a bad skiing posture to make the "Shot" look exciting.
almost like they R out of control just 2 give the illusion of an extream manover.
take a look at how the body is aligned, In square/out of square?
that will tell all.
