Pine Hill Park, Rutland - Post Irene Conditions

Post by BigAirSkier1580 »

Got a chance to get out yesterday evening at Pine Hill Park in Rutland. Needed a break from all of the work of this past week.

Went to Pine Hill expecting to mainly survey trail damage...

...Ended up riding singletrack that was in AMAZING condition. May be better than before the storm.

Trouble spots seemed to have the low-side blockages washed out and everything was in excellent condition. Any blow-downs I saw were dealt with already. The condition of the trails are a testament to how well-built those trails are.

If you are out-of-state, come up and visit. We're still open and welcoming visitors. If you're in-state, for the sake of your own mental health, take a little time to enjoy something for yourself. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

Rode there this morning. Other than a few small mud patches and one or two wash outs, the trail is in great shape.
