Lindsey Vonn injured in "serious crash" in Austria

Congrats to Julia Mancuso, starting 3 racers later and after a long delay to air lift Vonn off the course, she wins a bronze medal. I thinks it's her 8th world championship/olympic medal. She is clutch!!!

I feel for Lindsey,she would be in our medal mix next year... but you're oh so right, Julia is clutch. Hoping for the best for Lindsey. With no abandonment of Lindsey, realistically, Julia Mancuso is USA's best hopes next year.

As much as I'm a HUGE fan of Lindsey's and Julia's, right now based on how she's been skiing, I'd say the the best bet for a medal for the US women's ski team in Sochi would be with Micheala Shiffrin! She's been absolutely crushing it in the slalom this year with 3 wins and 7 top 10's! When you also factor in Julia and Lindsey and also Alice Mckennis who won a DH a few weeks ago and 2 podiums earlier this year in a DH for Leanne Smith, the US women's team is as deep talent wise as any team in the world right now

This is the end of her career as a competitive skier for sure.
