contract says the Yankees have the "right to" not the obligation to designate the milestone and market it.....guess we will have to wait and see what the players union says about all this...so far A-Rod has not filed a grievance....

Why reward a guy after he missed a full season of play for which he was contracted? Maybe if he makes it to the #1 spot they should pay him, but that is not likely to happen.
