Great job K doing whatever you did yo get the mountain open ... definitely some adventerous skiing - needed to be on your toes, but had a good morning. ROTD hard to call - East Fall soft and partially bumped - Sky/MidSup/Bitter. Norheidge surprisingly good - even Rime. Upper Bitter totally adventurous, which is expected in May, but now ..... Panic/needles still not open, nor lower Sky by the time we headed for the Canyon. Cascade not open yet, so other trails had a lot of peeps that did not belong. Crowded - guess peeps did not read reports

Blue skies with a white top hat cloud gathering around the mountain peaks. Summit temperature of 32 degrees for our afternoon outing. Great Northern had an interesting mis formed mix of pushed up snow piles over a hard ice base. Enjoyed carving the slightly soft Lower East Fall pavement. Superstar Headwall stayed closed for the day. Small bumps started to form about half way down mid Sup. Lower bump line matured nicely as the afternoon snow softening progressed. Hopped off the back onto a reserved Skyebust that held some of year’s best spring corn turns. Made several laps until the snow started to set-up. Needles held the days corn crop offering up some nice surfing. Returned to help in the Superstar bump building effort. Great spring tailgating weekend is forecast. Come get it while you can.
