To All Staff:
I have great news! I’ve returned home after being discharged from Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center on Monday, October 1.
After 15 days in the ICU at DHMC, I was moved into a less intensive outpatient room where I was off all equipment but manually monitored. Less than 24 hours later, ultrasound results brought good news, and I was sent home with 2 weeks house rest. I’ll spend these next 2 weeks following doctor’s orders to relax and recharge.
I feel better every day and look forward to getting back into my normal routine. Thank you all for the well wishes and cards! The continued support and love I received from the resort and community was beyond what I could have anticipated and very much appreciated.
I encourage managers and supervisors to share this message with staff that don’t have access to email.
