Nov 14 Roll Call / Reservations . . .

Post by ski »

I'm hoping to ski at Killington on Nov 14 . . . Who else is hoping to secure a "reservation" for Opening Day 2020.

And how(and WHEN?) is Killington going to implement this plan . . . FCFS or lottery ? Or thumb wrestling ? RoShamBo ?

Inquiring minds want to know . . . Holding our breath here . . .

You don't need a reservation to ski, only to park your car. Do we know if the bus is going to be running this year?

My current theory is that parking reservations are more about getting your info for contact tracing than restricting access.

What about landing in a bay does that count? My pilot says he can put his super cub down in an open bay. Risky maneuver. But what isn't these days?

Bingo. And they get the state the car is registered.

I don't think a private business is allowed to access your vehicle registration info.

What about all the stupid F*CKs from Jersey, CT, PA and Fredos from the state of NY that were there this summer and fall? No reservations required to ride the germdola? I don't think Mike has his head on straight. :barebutt: The video he posted looked like a bad terrorist reply. Bad editing. Forced words. Cut and paste. F*ck buying a pass of any type this year. Propaganda 101. Class 102 starts after 11/3. :Toast

People from out of state are going to come to Vermont this winter to ski, and you're just going to have to get used to the idea.

You're from NY. Cough on me. See what happens? I don't have to get used to any idea. You must be a sheeple. Sucks to live like you. At least I have options.

I will miss the opening day this year and probably most of the early year due to medical issues (not Covid). I hope those of you who can be there enjoy all the new snow and the skiing. I will miss it terribly.

I won't do that, but I'm also not going to tip toe around your xenophobia.

Looking forward to skiing again since I missed most of the last season.
So I wonder how it works for preferred parking ?
If they open on 11/13 I would like that too.

Tryolean skier good luck and I will be thinking of you. Take care.

I also want to know more about the parking thing.

1. If you live close by can you get a ride and be dropped off?
2. If you live on the bus route can you take the bus and be dropped off?
3. Will you have to indicate how many people will be in your car?
4. Has K announced how many parking spots are available?

Any one know about the condo shuttle routes and plans....they used to be packed like sardines so that will not work. I like the drop and go approach....oh, that doesn't work unless you take turns skiing/riding. On to plan B what ever that is....maybe it will be better at Bear. Uber could be big at K this year!
