I agree. Any midweek day, in addition to Friday, would be welcome for now.rogman wrote: ↑Dec 12th, '22, 15:52I’d settle for it being in the mix of chairs they run sometimes midweek. Needles Quad, Canyon, AND South Ridge. Baby steps.KingsFourMan wrote: ↑Dec 12th, '22, 14:31 Simple fix, get the SRQ up and running as soon as possible and run it 7 days a week.

They could always put in two magic carpets to get people back and forth across the schlep zone.

Let me think about this.
Did they change the elevation on either side of the new lodge?

I was always surprised there isn’t a 2 way rope tow or poma.. a place we go in Austria has one in a similar traverse, I don’t think it even has an attendant. I don’t mind the schlep until late spring when the slush is working against you!

Look at the change at the base of tower 2 on the Gondola. You can see the tower base is now on a "pitcher's mound"; they lowered the surrounding ground 2 feet, and graded into the hillside across from the tower. Does it make it downhill in both directions? No. But it's a less uphill shlep from the lodge to the Gondola than it was.Captain Hafski wrote: ↑Dec 12th, '22, 22:13 Did they change the elevation on either side of the new lodge?
The ski racks are in prime real estate, move them to the fence under the liftline.

Would there be enough room along the patio wall to add racks against the wall?Mister Moose wrote: ↑Dec 12th, '22, 22:56Look at the change at the base of tower 2 on the Gondola. Wall’s not in its final form. There are unwired lights embedded in it. Patience.
Re: The New K1 Schlepp
Not liking new lodge. Too many stairs. Need to get water fountain installed or easier access to water.
Re: The New K1 Schlepp
Eeegads .. the schlep
Did you people not ever learn to skate ?

Re: The New K1 Schlepp
you would 2 like in an airport.
I agree skating is the key, but its still a pain in the ass to get to the Snowdon 3 and then its fairly flat across Bay 1. If I'm trying to get to Ramshead or even the 6 I'll take a ride on the Triple and let Gravity take me down.

Re: The New K1 Schlepp
things are nowhere near the final configuration. there were 4 or 5 vehicles parked along the deck wall today. i'm sure many ski racks will be moved there. but once the dust has settled, not expecting a major improvement in the "schlepp."
