Voted for Long Trail Ale, because it's just a classic, but I would have voted for Hibernator as well. It's a toss up for me between those two.

^I had the same feeling, but chose the classic Ale because it's available all year and is a good session beer as well.

Boy talk about hard on for Long Trail.

Rainbow Red and Switchback are definately better than anything else on the list (that I have tried). Long Trail Ale comes in a sold third. Why is Harpoon not on the list? Some of their 100 Barrel Series and and their IPA are very good.

I'm a Harpoon fan as well. Long Trail is ok, Hibernator and Double Bag are better. Switchback, definately. Just bought a Fall seasonal 12 pack from Magic Hat. It comes with #9, Hex Ourtoberfest Ale (Average, liked it) Hi PA (A little more than the usual IPA, but not a hophead or double IPA. Liked it.) and Odd Notion Fall 2010. (Spicy half skunky no idea what they were thinking. It's supposed to be a green apple wit beer. Going to have to give the other two to Mikey.)

ANYTHING by the Alchemist utterly destroys those listed in the poll. Perhaps the only brewery in VT worthy of export to other states, but of course it isn't.
