Pfft. I've been out in -35 air temp, and your eyelids don't freeze shut. Carrots shatter like glass, but your eyes are just fine.

Boot gloves, two face masks, hand warmers, and onion skin the clothing. Not a problem.

Re: Cold on Sunday
I have it. I can only wear it in very cold weather. Mask is way too hot and somewhat uncomfortable.Big Bob wrote:Was at Cannon years ago with the old wind chill chart it was -100 F wind chill. Great face mask but you look like Darth Vadar.

Exactly! This seems to be the year where by the time a system finally reaches New England, the air mass has always moderated a bit to the warmer side. A cold day on Sunday, yup, but nothing i'm sure that all of us haven't been out in before.
Let's atleast hope that the predicted winds aren't as strong as forcasted!

I bet nervously looking over your shoulders while worrying if the knife you brought will be sufficient for the dangerous wildlife you expect to encounter, will help keep your mind off the cold weather.Atomic1 wrote:All I have to do is pull the #10 Manning Jersey over my jacket and I'll be toasty warm !
Re: Cold on Sunday
Once it gets below 5-10 degrees (depending on wind and sun), its just not worth it to me.
