Looks like Danny took a page from the McHale playbook by helping Carlisle ?
Dallas looks pretty formidable now
Now Celtics can finally tank in peace

Re: Rondo who?
The Mavs may not be as upgraded as it may seem:
1. Rondo is a bad shooter.
2. He is coming off an ACL injury, we've seen how that has worked out for NBA players (besides D Rose)
3. He's a bad defender.
4. Rondo and Ellis both like to have the ball in their hands in crunch time.
All in all it doesn't matter in the long run since his contract expires at the end of the season so he'll probably just explore free agency and sign with the Knicks, maybe.

Re: Rondo who?
Other than as a foul shooter, he's better than any Jameer or whoever else they had in that role.
He's always been a Maverick ... will fit right in.
Just happy he's afforded the Celtics a real chance to find the cellar.

Re: Rondo who?
Yeah he could fit in well there IF he decides to accept a smaller role which would be better for the mavs.
Re: Rondo who?
They don't need him to shoot, ever.thedev wrote:The Mavs may not be as upgraded as it may seem:

Beware of fools & trolls here, they lurk everywhere.
Re: Rondo who?
Injuries happen, especially when two of your starters are 30+
