Re: Steve, Bill and Jay Peak

I'm boycotting GregZone for life but I certainly have no issue with Steve Wright using a shot of his youngest daughter in that piece. Like always, you got exactly what he thinks. Suspend tee ball and soccer for the weekend. Go out and play in the snow one last time. Geoff, I hope that's not going t...

Re: Report from Sugarbush

I say this as objectively as possible, but Powdr really could learn a thing or two about customer service from Sugarbush. At least on this day, the obvious passion for skiing/riding up there spilled over to produce ear to ear smiles on everyone. Safe to say the difference between running a business...

Re: My phone call with Nyberg

2. It is real easy to spend other people's money, particularly when you don't have P&L responsibility. A little constructive listening might be a good idea. POWDR's biggest problem right now is trust . They have a credibility problem, largely of their own making. Until they fix that, nothing el...

We all got our weekly fill of laughs off that one, and decided we didn't need anymore for a while.

Re: Customer service . . .

SS, these "good guys" that you speak of, because of how they handle themselves to their customers don't have their core crew pissed off at them. And to boot, they threw one awesome 1st ever winter brewers fest last weekend for their customers and it was so successful that before it even e...

Re: Email I received from Nyberg regarding BMMC

Hi guys. I'm an admin over in the Sugarloaf Forum (http://www.sugarloaftoday.com/chat) and this topic made our board yesterday. Perhaps you could post the full headers on the email. This would clearly identify the origin of the email and you could compare IP addresses to those from emails you know ...

Last March, on my very 1st run of a 6 day trip, I fell on Cruise and broke my pole over my rib cage. So off to the car I go to get my spare pair. Crap. I forgot them in NJ. So a quick pit stop over at Snowshed's rental area and and I was able to "borrow" a pair for the rest of the week. Ok...

I went back a few time during the day and scanned the racks but couldn't find them. I did forget to mention that we were left one Solomon pole as a replacement. What I can't understand is if you bust a pole mid-day, why steal when the rental shop is more than willing to loan you a pole for the rest ...

Stolen Poles!

I know that theft is pretty common at ski areas, but in twenty years, I've never had a problem. I always lock my skis and loop the poles over the top. I'd like to thank the ass hat who stole my girlfriends poles on 3/18/07 in front of K1 Lodge. While her skis were locked up, I've never had to really...
