Re: cars cars cars

My E46 M3 with winters move just fine in and around killington. It has 60/40 split and also passthru. Sure it's tail happy if you rev and the front bumper will double as a snow plow in anything more than 12" of snow, but it will go anywhere any normal car can go and will do it faster than anyth...

I'm amused that the so called "life time pass holders" can be so naive. Granted, this isn't the greatest PR move on the new owner's part, but as far as economics go, this is a no brainer. And I'm not sure how many people actually have one of these, but there can't be that many people who h...

Re: Mid-April Utah Trip

You might wanna call Alta to make sure they are running lifts late Apr. If I remember right - this was like 5 years ago, they close early/mid Apr. Snowbird should be open though OK, I did use search first before I posted this. I am heading to Vegas 4/24 for a conference and conveniently my flight ha...

AWD grips better, but is harder to take out of a skid... No, AWD does not "grip" better. It's a total myth. It's the tires that does gripping not the powertrain. You put the summer only performance tires in a AWD car and put a real snow tires in RWD car which has reputation of having terr...

I can't speak for all NJ drivers but I don't use them cuz I just don't see the need to inform others on the road who are going slower when I take the open space that's available for me to take. As for speed traps along the route to/from Killington - CNJ in my case, be careful between exit 20-18 spec...

The deal I can get is $688.99 for two person which includes 4 nights at the hotel, 6 lift tickets that are good for the resorts list below, and $75 food comps. And I searched for a SUV rental car which seems to run about 300-310 for 5days/1week. So divide that by 2, we get basically get 500 per pers...

ski/snowboard at Lake Tahoe

I'm looking to replace my ski buddy - I'm not as vicious as this sounds - who got hurt and won't be able to go with me to Tahoe in mid Feb. As of now, it's 2/17/07-2/22/07 but it could be changed to the week of 2/10/07-2/15/07 or 2/24/07-3/1/07 and I'm definitely flexible about adding or deleting a ...
