Re: Wednesday: The non-Okemo report

Haven't skied anything steep in a few weeks and wanted to get some work in before BMMC, so I took today off. Bumps needed more skier traffic to loosen up; OL, Escapade, Dreammaker to Thimble to Needles Eye, and Superstar all grabby but firm. Plus skier's right on OL is crap. Ugly mounds of snow, no...

Re: Killington vs. Ski Sundown...

the $1000 is just a rumor. i've heard it from a number of people but not from Chris Sullivans mouth, who would be the one to know for sure. Next time i see him there, i'll ask if he can provide a list of prizes. the top 4 in each category get awards, but some of the lesser prizes came out of the lo...

Re: Killington vs. Ski Sundown...

But would you? I mean it has what, 20 trails and most are just BORING. They do seed bumps and have a race course and a park, but that is it. I would ski it from 8 to noon and be bored to tears. Might stay out just to ski, but would rather ski K for its diversity rather than Sundown with lets do tha...

I'll chime in here. I didn't encourage Tom to take that rapid fire approach to answering questions "live". That's not usually how we do it and in a sense actually encouraged the thread to degenerate into the bitch-fest it did. Tom kinda shot himself in the foot there, unfortunately. I real...

Re: BMMC Fans: Potential SNE Mogul Competition

No, I don't have anything against skiers learning to ski at any age. I just wanted to torment Greg. How did I do? Pretty lamely, if you ask me. First of all, you got your facts wrong. I started skiing at 19, not "middle age". You got the slight balding part right, so I'll give you that on...
