There's quite a gap from the snow to the lift line. You don't quite get off the slope before you hit dirt. They do have a hay bale chopper/blower set up and will likely hay the path to the lift. I think Big Bob is correct on the rebar pulling out from the ledge due to faulty epoxy/grout. I seem to remember that when the haul rope slid off the bull wheel it took out the next tower as well. There's quite a bit of snowmaking pipe just below Superstar, and a fair bit of digging. Some new drainage pipes as well. Anyone know if it's replacement, or is there any capacity increase??
