I'll be up, first time back on the slopes since December of 2007... to say I'm excited is an understatement. looking forward to looking like a total total herb out there, I don't even want to know how rusty my skiing has gotten over the past two years

Re: Music Thread
this coming from the dude who thinks lamb of god are awesome? sorry, but I'll stick to a innovative, tried and true punk band to a rehashed boring metal band any day.

Re: Music Thread
check out the bands floor or torche- those bands use drop a tuning, but then use a "bomb string", where the top string is just sort of dangling off of the guitar. ridiculously heavy, and while it sounds kind of silly in theory, they pull it off well. http://www.myspace.com/torche "in ...

Re: Two seasons, and hardly anything to show
had the surgery yesterday morning, OUCH. woke up from the operation with a big fiberglass cast on my right hand/arm... was expecting it to be removable but I guess not. hydrcodone has me feeling a bit loopy but it's to be expected... still a good amount of pain, but it could be worse. 3 months and c...

Re: Two seasons, and hardly anything to show
whitey, band is taking it well- doesn't stop me from doing vocals, so I'll use the extra time in winter for band practice. it actually looks like I'll be doing PT with one of mr. rawley's co-workers, should be interesting. of course you can use my boards rusty, as long as you don't strap explosives ...

Two seasons, and hardly anything to show
so as some of you may recall, I tore my right hand's UCL (ligament that moves the thumb) a couple of years ago trying to brace myself for a fall during an early season pow day. I had to wear a soft cast for 6 weeks, and was told by the campus health center I would have a full range of motion once I ...

Re: Why didn't they have toys like this when I was a kid?
nerf wars have come back out of nowhere over the past couple of years, I can get behind this. can't stand video games (with the exception of playing weezer on rock band once every blue moon), cool to see something that gets kids off the couch.
