Re: Sucker buys crappy Maine ski resorts
Look at what they're doing at Big Sky, a place that they wholly own. Actually Boyne operates Big Sky for Cross Harbors that controls the real estate. The good news is there are major lift upgrades on going which are creating a buzz with skiing guests from outside MT. This season will likely be a re...

The Yellowstone Club seems to do pretty well, but Haystack lacks their terrain and access to Big Sky.

Re: Snowdon Triple mid station
Just out of curiosity why do you like the Snowdon triple over the Snowdon quad? I like having the option of not riding K-1 when there is a line for the gondola without the slightly longer skate to the quad.Southside_Bobby wrote:I personally prefer the triple to the quad.

Re: Tenney article
Tenney has some interesting trails, amusing low angle glades and low skier traffic so good snow surfaces when Ullr delivers. The summit chair was the slowest I have ever ridden and makes any K chair seem like a rocket. My parents with frugal so we skied Tenney a bit in the 60's and was a welcome cha...
