Hello, Avemco... Gives a whole new meaning to known ice certification.

The C-130 I had seen before, the pilot had been into that strip the day before, and didn't read the Notam posted on runway construction the next day. Oooops.

You can see all 41 photos here:

Next time you think you're having a bad day, think about some of these poor folks.

Thats what happens when brakes fail or a non pilot loses control while taxiing. The slices you see are from the propeller, and the evenness of the slices is from a constant engine speed and drive by speed. The impression of the nose is visible on the rear of the sliced airplanes right engine nacelle. The offending airplane has been removed.

Sometimes you get crazy accidents like this when someone hand props (Starts by turning the propeller)an airplane alone with no one in the cockpit, and the tie down ropes or brakes fail.

Either that, or the biggest vegomatic you've ever seen.

I have seen similar prop damage, but never so perfect!

Usually the engine will either stall or propeller (and/or object being struck) disintegrates before it can progress that far, atleast from what I have seen after the fact.

That plane was so precisely positioned relative to the propeller arc, quite a find.

My initial thought was that it was in the process of being sliced up for razorblades.
